On the right hand side of the screen under "Genre" it states that this is an erotic romance. There is NO SEX IN THIS BOOK. None. Zilch. Zero. Nada. I thought that was the main ingredient in an "erotic" story, but what do I know? I gave it 4 stars though because it made me both tear up and laugh out loud a couple of times. I could actually feel the h's emotional pain, so I gave the author credit for grabbing me in that way. In spite of there being no sex (

Loved it

Jesus is a transplanted poor California girl living in wealthy Texas. Culture shock, hot men, and attitudes all need adjustments. Great story. Lots of sexual tension. Feisty dialogue. Can't wait to read the next one!

I liked it, definitely helped my cowboy southern gentleman fix i needed. it had some touchier topics that I want expecting, but that's good! (the surprise not the touchy topic) though it was heavily foreshadowed I didn't think I was going to read about it when I picked this book up.
wasn't so thrilled where it ended, even an extra chapter would've been appreciated. there is another book which I can see myself reading and possibly enjoying. but not a book that left me yearning to know what happened immediately.

This was a terrible book. I kept hoping it would pick up, but it didn't. The author spent too much time rambling on about things that were not important. I didn't like the main characters. I felt there was no chemistry between them because they hardly interacted. And just when they finally made some head way, the book was over. Terrible. Waste of my time.

Humorous, but vapid

The writing was a little disjointed and hurried in places, but funny and entertaining. The damsel in distress theme got old quick.

The inner dialogue of the main character made her likeable. I think her love interest could have benefited from some inner dialogue of his own. He seemed moody, selfish and entitled and I couldn't quite understand her attraction to him.
