I feel like the reason why Avery likes the brothers and why they like her is still not sufficiently explained. I really don't feel for them.

I would've loved more Nash. I did not expect the ending, not satisfying but it took me by surprise, which I like.

Just like the previous books, this kept me guessing the motives of Hawthorne bringing her into the fold and giving her his inheritance. The ending made sense and made reading the trilogy worth it. I don't plan to read the other books that follow as they're extra and not necessarily continuing the current story line but seem more like a companion style book but after the events of the trilogy.
