this was a fun, quick thriller set over 4th of july weekend which is right when i read it! It was very fast paced and kept me intrigued. it was nothing revolutionary, but enjoyable nontheless. i felt like the plot dragged a little bit around the halfway point, and I did predict who the killer was- but like i said, it was enjoyable for what it was!

This YA thriller was quick and easy to read. I was fully absorbed into the storyline & couldn't put it down until I could figure out who the bad guy was. Spoiler, I didn't find out until I read the twist. Some of the characters are relatable in that we have all (at one point) molded ourselves into something we aren't to fit in. Whether its lying about how much money we have or hiding our true feelings. This book takes that to the max, resulting in a disturbing chaos of lies, backstabbing, and murder. All the relationships in this book are built on mistrust, lies, and fakeness. It was bound to come crashing down sooner or later.
