There's nothing bad to be said about Calvin and Hobbes. A pleasure from front to back. :)

There are some absolutely hilarious strips in this collection of Watterson's earliest work on Calvin and Hobbes (Nov 18, 1985 to May 23, 1987), and elements of what will soon become the greatest comic strip of all time are being laid down, but for long stretches it struggles to distinguish itself from the run-of-the-mill.  The material added just for this collection is a special touch, especially the painting of the rain-puddle scene at the very end.

Al lijkt het me wel vermoeiend om zo'n kind als Calvin te hebben :p.

Classic. My favorite comic strip of all time. Wise, witty, and wonderful.
