Stopped at 35%. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t like it. The FMC went on and on about her curvy body it felt out of place and obsessive. The MMC was not endearing and very immature for being as old as he was.

Things I liked:
- that Olivia kept her job and was an all-around pretty solid human
- Kara and Olivia’s friendship
- Carter and the team’s dynamic
Things I didn’t:
- the constant blaming of Carter for Olivia’s anxiety response. Uh, no? Like yeah if he said or directly did something boneheaded, that’s one thing, but her issues with the level of his celebrity are hers and hers alone and I thought that whole dynamic was pretty shitty.
- Adam’s monster of a girlfriend
Overall:
I binged this over 2 days on audio. It was easy, compelling , and spicier than what I usually read. All in, I think sports romances are something of a palate cleanser for me. So yeah, Carter’s instant move to perfect boyfriend was a little too idyllic and Olivia was great but definitely had a few things I didn’t love, but honestly? This was a fun and quick read and I may finish the series over time.
