Absolutely adorable read and I literally could not put it down. Kind of a lack of actual romance, but their adorable friendship that blossoms beforehand is amazing and their development is so perfect that it truly makes up for it.

I really really tried. I’ll most likely come back to it but not as an audio book, there is a specific voice actor that I literally cannot stand due to the way she over exaggerates the way she reads. I absolutely love the other voice actor though, she’s amazing and truly finds ways to make every character sound completely different. But the voice actor for Alex I have a hard time following along because she will change the voice for a character half way through the sentence! Then I’m all confused at who is really talking!

This book was so sweet. Alex and Molly are both well developed characters, each dealing with their own issues as they try to start a new chapter in their lives. Both of their perspectives are excellently written. I never struggled to tell their inner voices apart, they felt very distinct. The banter between the two characters was always amusing to read, and their deeper conversations felt so natural. I love the way it builds to them slowly opening up to one another. Falling in love while trying to help each other in their other relationships was humorous and heartbreaking. This was an incredible read all the way through. I never found myself bored or losing interest. An excellent read that I would definitely recommend.

this is decidedly not my genre but I still thought it was cute! dual pov is fun but I didn't vibe with the super short chapters and was not a fan of 1 of the 2 main girls sorry alex. molly parker however is JUST like me fr...my anxious wasian gay queen...and her crush on cora mimicked my own first crush to a genuinely painful degree. also would have enjoyed more of the book being the 2 of them pining after each other rather than their separate girls bc I honestly wasn't super invested in this romance.
