HOLY SHIT SHE WAS WAS HOT AS FUCK

Okay so we meet our FMC as she is in her bar/restaraunt that she owns and she is right away portrayed as a sassy bad little bitch and I love that for her. She finds out her man is cheating on her and she gets back at him in the most epic way I was DYING laughing.

Then she meets the MMC and what starts as a little getting over you by getting under someone else turns into so much more with a huge fucking plot twist from her coven and a demon who is hunting her.

The storyline was good, but the book was way too long and redundant. The first half I really did enjoy, but after that it became a bit repetitive. I knew what the plot twist was long before it was given, and honestly I got really bored reading the last half that I just started to skim it (I hardly ever skim books). Overall I enjoyed the plot but a lot could have been cut out to make for a better overall experience.

Ex bf's dad is always a hook, line, and sinker of a trope for me and this was no exception.

Blair is a bad ass witch looking to hook up with her ex's dad for revenge, and instead finds a love story. I really enjoyed the darker side of Blair we see and how she breaks the typical nature witch mould. There's good story both in how her relationship with Dax develops and the happenings in the town with a demon on the loose. As per Sarah delivers top tier spice throughout the book.

Drawbacks would be the revenege got swiftly abandoned and things felt a bit awkward with that. I also wasn't the biggest fan of Stevie as a supporting character.
