I found the plot significantly more interesting than all the sex. Not that the sex was boring, it just could hold up to how fire the plot of this was.

There is a really emotional rough scene about 15% of the way into the book when Blair’s mother tries to murder her. I hated that but, but overall loved the book as a whole, just check trigger warnings.

I had never really thought about nepotism before, but currently I’m a huge fan. (Blair’s POV, 279)

CW: kidnapping, murder, emotional abuse, death of parent, violence

I liked how Blair owned her abilities and emotions and her differences. She took some emotional beatings to get to that place, but she owns it now and is unwilling to relinquish it. I liked Dax and how appreciated Blair for who she was. I really liked that both of them were able to be themselves with each other. I liked the relationship that Blair has with her cousin, Stevie. Dax's relationship with Asmo and Kas is entertaining. I found the mystery interesting.
