This book is the final in a trilogy, but the other two didn't sound as fun so I skipped them. Yep, that's allowed!

Ben is a werewolf who drunkenly buys an enchanted stone on eBay. The stone turns out to be the prison of Eleonore, a half-vampire, half-succubus. I was worried about the nature of the relationship (Ben can control Eleonore with verbal commands) and the "born-sexy-yesterday" trope (Eleonore has been trapped for centuries and therefore needs Ben's help to use a microwave, etc.) but ultimately the charming duo build a healthy relationship, with the help of the couples from the first two books. Pro: it's a bit spicy, has some nonbinary side characters, and Ben's sister becoming mayor is a major aspect of the plot. Con: When Eleonore does her first performance art piece, Ben doesn't like it?? Conclusion: I had fun with this book but don't regret not committing to the full trilogy.
