3.5 i appreciated that although the inevitable miscommunication trope happens and he betrays her trust (which i was dreading because i LOATHE that trope) it all gets sorted out pretty quickly

Ehhhh this really wasn’t for me. The whole election plot was clearly to build for the next book but this really was not for me. Maybe for someone who likes a cozy romance
there was a slight miscommunication (not by the mmcs) that i think would’ve solved the problem a lot faster (even the characters mentioned it) but otherwise it was a very nice story, i loved how it progressed and how loveable the characters are! at times there were more than i could keep track of, but the main group is absolutely addicting to read about
