🪴 Bookish Thoughts

Top 5 of the year, no question. The first 20% was a slow start. But once it picked up, it hit all the emotions.

I adored Ben. My sweet, soft, plant-loving, people pleasing and sweater vest king. His anxiety was written with so much care and authenticity. He was a tender and deeply feeling soul. 

And Eleonore? My heart broke for her. She was trapped for so long and had survived so much. I loved how Ben never pushed her! He simply offered safety and softness. And in return, she became this fierce protector for him. She understood him and helped calm his spiraling thoughts. Their dynamic was healing in every sense of the word 🌸🥹
