This describes my years of growing almost perfectly. Though I now live outside a major city and my own child won't be experiencing quite the same thing, this book is a lovely way to talk about how his mama grew up. Lovely illustrations too!

I read this book a few times when I was younger and it is a cute story about family and the holiday season. I enjoy the illustrations, and the construction of the book is really well done.
