Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: forced proximity, second chance
Angst:

second chance romances are my favorite thing!!! m robinson did such a good job with this one and that plot twist had me SQUEALING!!

I can’t believe it took me this long to read a book By this Author; Alpha CEO is the chef’s kiss. This book was exactly what I needed. M.Robinson is the Queen of angst.

Autumn has loved Julian since they were kids. Julian is Autumn's brother's best friend and makes Autumn off-limits. Julian broke her heart and took off. Ten years later, they reunited. His company hired her as his publicist to give him a warmer image. To say he was shocked is an understatement; however, Mr. Alpha Ceo doesn't show it. He is now determined to have Autumn back in his life. They’re both in for a ride of a lifetime since neither one of them is who they were ten years ago.

Let me tell you, I laughed at some of the things Julian did. He infuriates her. I was waiting for Autumn to kick him where it hurts. But our girl doesn’t take it lying down; they both gave as much as they got.

I love the authors writing style and how she went from past to present to tell their back story. I felt every single emotion. I definitely ugly cried a time or two. But so worth it. Let's not forget the spice and sexual tension between the two. Alpha Ceo is a must-read and will not be my last book from this author.

It is no secret that I hate the secret baby trope. I mean I really freaking hate it. Yet for whatever reason, this book made me love it.

There were aspects about it that I really didn't love, but in the long run everything else about these two characters really hit the spot for me.

UHHHH HELLO SEXUAL TENSION AND ANGST!!!

In all my life there has only ever been one book that filled me with such hate and was deemed a love story. That was Wuthering Heights. I hated Julian through the first half of this book and then for a time I hated Autumn. Eventually I began to understand them both and why things happened the way they did. In the end I was happy but exhausted. So you may not understand when I say I Loved This Book! A good book will always take every emotion it can from me, twist it all up and forcefully shove them back in. I may be broken but put back together good as new, just like the characters. I love books that are so real to life; the actions, reactions and emotions that make us human, but rarely get that. Here I got it in spades. The only issue I found myself tripping on were spelling errors. There were a handful of times that there was a you instead of your and emotion instead of emotional, and the like. This type of thing really trips me up when reading and breaks the flow. But since that was all the issues I had, this is a winner in my book.
