I really liked our main protagonist but it was harder to connect with many of the other characters. This feels like a fairly dark and somber story, with tension throughout. I wouldn't necessarily recommend to anyone who comes to this through Heartstopper, since the atmosphere is not as lighthearted or wholesome.

One of the best books i‘ve read in a while. I love how Oseman gave all the characters their unique space to exist and be present without overloading the storyline. It‘s new, it‘s relevant for future generations, not just LGBTQ+ teens but also those in particular and I hope to see more of those type of stories!! Big recommend from me!!
