atat de ambiguu ca am inteles aproximativ nimic. poate daca o recitesc o sa.mi placa mai mult dar acum m.a lasat doar confuza si mai proasta decat eram.
"Iona" e opera aceia pentru bac pe care trebuie sa o înțelegi. Filozofia ce se sta la baza fricii pescarului de singurătate este cu adevărat modernă și dacă pot să spun actuala. Metafora "burtii pestelui" ma face sa ma gandesc la moarte, moartea ce este inevitabilă si care nu poate fi învinsă la fel cum nici pescarul nu va reuși să iasă din burțile peștilor. O parabolă dramatică cu câteva urme filozofice ce ii va da cititorului de gandit. Oare Iona va reuși să scape din burțile peștilor, folosindu-se doar de un cuțit? Sau moartea il va prinde in ghearele sale înainte să iasă si sa ajunga acasa? Finalul deschis iti va oferi ocazia sa te gândești la aceste intrebari.

Poate că tocmai în momentul acesta şi ea se gândeşte la mama ei. Dacă-ar
trăi bunică-sa, şi bunică-sa s-ar gândi acum tot la mama ei. Sunt
coincidenţe de-astea. Eu cred că există, în viaţa lumii, o clipă când toţi
oamenii se gândesc la mama lor. Chiar şi morţii. Fiica la mamă, mama la
bunică, bunica la mamă... până se ajunge la o singură mamă, una imensă...
- Ce linişte trebuie să fie atunci pe lume!
- În momentul acela, dacă-ar striga cineva ajutor, cred c-ar fi auzit pe-ntreg
pământul.
I like the play as much as I liked it half a life ago: almost not at all! Woven into Absurd theatre (and I'm considering Ionesco and Beckett here), Existentialism is bearable, but otherwise it just gives me a freaking headache.
Well, how about a random question/thought: are all fishermen philosophers? I mean, with all that time on their hands, they sit by themselves and wait, and then they wait some more, what on earth can they do but think and then think some more; no wonder they start to question the meaning of life and the whole existence thingie.

Dear Mrs. B, you were an awful teacher, you had no idea how to articulate a sentence about existentialism, but it's so great you commented on the play in such a didactic, boring manner and "burți dă pește" remained your trade mark all throughout high school. We will forever be grateful.
