Five very well deserved stars.
I think I just found my favorite book of the year.
My experience reading this book was just adorable, the two of them are the most cutest of all.
Bryson's family was awesome and I understood why Bryson is how he is ( just adorable and pure perfection) because of the family he has.
Kai's family made me suffer but all end well gladly. I find it amazing how his sister was there supporting him and defending him, that was the best. I know that accepting someone specially when you're religious it must be more difficult so I'm glad they accepted him for how he is, just free to love.
I was thinking in write something about the worst characters of the book.. coff.. coff..Shannon but I'm happy so let's not ruin it.
Bryson and Kai, I just want you to be happy and protect them from all bad that might happen. I love these two guys with all my heart, Bryson is the sweetest and Kay the cutest

I expected a cute simple romcom but instead got hit with a cascade of messages about how it's okay to be gay and how homophobia still exists... Like do you know your target audience?? It's going to be mainly LGBTQ+ teenagers that pick up this book so why would we care about being bombarded with messages and preaches about being gay?? Like all I'm asking for is subtlety instead of throwing as many problems you can think of for closeted gay teenagers.

It's so obvious that the book was written by someone who hasn't fully come into their craft yet and maybe hasn't reached their potential, but let me just say this, if you're seeling a book as a cute gay romance, we don't want to be constantly reminded about homophobia. It's okay to write queer stories and not focus on the negatives we face!!

Just wanted a cute romance but no :'(

A fun, light read! Kevin van Whye's writing is smooth and easy to read, and I enjoyed Kai's character. Bryson is a male Mary Sue: a flawless golden boy who is incredibly similar to the love interests in Red, White & Royal Blue and Only Mostly Devastated. And of course, it draws ideas from the original gay YA novel, Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda. Some people are outed, some people come out, and these dreaded coming outs were actually dreaded for no reason and everyone accepts them warmly.

I could easily attack this novel for lack of originality, but a novel does not have to be original to be fun. Not every novel with representation needs to make some new statement. It is enough to be enjoyable fluff that incorporates characters that readers want to see. I would recommend Date Me, Bryson Keller to fans of the novels I mentioned above and those looking for a cute romance to brighten your day.

El libro es asombroso, te lleva a donde quieres ir sin sufrir en el procesos por disvariar, me parece que maneja muy bien toda la situación y te enamoras de los personajes.
Bryson sin duda alguna es lo mas hermoso de la vida.
