Érdekes koncepció arról, hogy egyetlen döntés mennyire befolyásolhatja az életünk kimenetelét. Tetszett a két alternatív univerzum, habár itt-ott előfordultak ismétlések, ezért az egy csillag levonás.

1 ordinary situation, 2 simple choices - stay or go?

In concurrent storylines, we see the effects of each decision play out. As the two different storylines unfold, these parallel universes develop into radically different stories with large-scale consequences, making it clear how even the smallest choices can make a big impact - raising questions about fate & true love: Is anything meant to be? How much in our life is determined by chance?

Talk about an incredibly intricate & unique plot. This was felt like 2 complete books in one - a choose your own adventure! This one really makes you think about the idea that just one moment could set you on a different path, & that there are many different ways to find happiness.

I really liked both storylines & I think that’s a testament to TJR’s amazing writing. She has a special way of creating a full cast of real & relatable characters that you can’t help but love.

I know it’s marketed as a contemporary romance, & maybe it is, but the theme that really resonated with me the most was the bond between Hannah & her best friend Gabby. They are the real soulmates of this story. While reading I just remember feeling how I wished I had a friend like that - a life long, loves you no matter what companion.

Maybe in Another Life is a clever, funny, hopeful, tug on your heartstrings type of story. Get you a warm cinnamon roll with extra icing & enjoy this cozy comfort read ◡̈

I'm finally up to date with Ms. Taylor!

Speaking of the book, I really liked the idea of it, the what if, and that there's 2 worlds, each one created by a simple choice. It felt like those interactive games. It was fun.

Besides that, I enjoyed the story, but it wasn't anything super wow.

The main relationship here is Gabby and Hannah 100%, and I loved to see it. How they had each other's back. I yearn for a friendship like that.
