The spicy scenes were worth it but besides that, another “eh” book. It was easy to read and entertaining but not good enough for me to want to read the rest of the books in this series :/

Two words. Angry sex. I really enjoyed this very combative duo. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. By the end, I could see them working together long term. Which is weird considering where they started. Highly recommend this fast read.

Naughty November Continues....
I really enjoyed this book! It was a hate/hate/love relationship. Bennet is an overbearing jerk of a boss and Chloe has a smart mouth that gives every bit of crap back to him. Already has the makings for something fun!
Both are very career driven, and excellent at what they do, but cannot deny their feeling for each other. What starts out as forbidden encounters turns into somewhat as an obsession between them. I loved how those feelings evolved over the course of the book. This was a super hot and steamy read! It was a constant stream of hotness and naughtiness! Most importantly I loved how they got their HEA!
I read that this was written many many (new) moons ago as a type of fan fiction;) I would have never guessed it (especially when I saw what is was based off...nope don't buy it). The publisher made a huge deal about how much editing and rewriting had been done. I believe it!

I read this book years ago and decided to do a reread. Well a re-listen. It was just as good as the first time around. Honestly, there isn’t a big story line here. It’s a lot of sex. A lot. They hate each other, or so they say. But their chemistry is to die for.

This book was an oof yikes. I did complete it but probably only because I knew what would happen from the fanfic version. This dynamic is just hugely problematic and I couldn't put that aside when reading. I know they were going for an enemies to lovers work romance but a) it felt unrealistic with the way it jumps from 0 to 100 on the lust side at work and was clearly breaking a million rules and b) the beginning feels like a sexual harassment case not a romance. He is literally her boss, it’s a huge power dynamic issue and he just touches her in a conference room without permission and no conversation from her indicating that she’s interested. Also so brazen—they seem remarkably unconcerned about being caught having sex multiple times on company property during the work day. Maybe this is fantasy fulfillment for some folks but I just feel like the plot didn't work. They could have stuck them at a bar with coworkers and made him be at the company but not her direct boss and it would have at least felt less like such a blatant violation of multiple workplace rules. I think they should have done more to transition this from a fanfic to a book. This is showing me I am much more of a slow burn romance gal and this much smut without feelings first is not so much for me.

Not my cup of tea (at least as a romance book). The love interest does not seem to care about consent or really about the heroine at all.
