you’ve got the grumpy, older, brothers best friend working with the sunshine, younger, best friends sister and what happens when you have them plan a last minute christmas wedding? you get this stunner of a book.

brooks and lila are tasked to help lila’s brother organize a last minute christmas wedding for himself and his fiancée. lila loves christmas and brooks does not (for valid reasons) and they also can’t help the chemistry and attraction they have for one another. i loved this book, i loved the cameos you get from ann’s aspen grove characters and how it hints at the next book in that series. i had so much fun with this holiday novella. it was so good

So, if you haven't yet read anything by Ann Einerson what on earth are you waiting for?!? Her Aspen Grove series is seriously one of my all time favorites, and I just ADORE her writing, her characters, the settings, everything.

The Holiday Claus was not any different - I LOVED this book from the opening lines all the way through to the end. The introduction to the characters was so good - all of the California scenes - swoon!

Then we come to spending the holidays in Vermont and we again see Lila, and Brooks and the spark, the grumpiness (on his part), her jolly optimism - all so well done. Kay, the meddling grandma/boss, happens to be my favorite character - I laughed out loud at her scheming and just absolutely adored the beautiful inn.

I loved that this was a beautiful, sizzling romance with beautiful chemistry and NO drama! It was a perfect holiday read.

Thank you to Ann Einerson for a review copy in exchange for my honest review!

“Whether or not I’m ready to admit it, Lila Monroe has the power to turn my entire world upside down if I let her.”

This novella was such a cute and cozy read. The chemistry between Brooks and Lila was so obvious from the first (re)connection. Ann always has a way of getting straight to the point without you feeling like you missed out on something. Lila’s cute pup, Winston and Brooks’ meddling grandma, Kay, were my two favorite side characters. Grandma knew exactly what she was doing

This was a great holiday romance. This definitely gives Hallmark vives with spice. I love a good brother's best friend romance. Plus through in a meddling grandma and a sassy dog just to add to the awesomeness of this book. It's also a grumpy/sunshine romance too which is one of my favorite tropes. Brooks has lost the magic of Christmas, but this year Lila is going to bring that Christmas magic back into his life. It was one of my favorite parts of the book watching Brooks see the wonder of the holiday again. I completely get why he has because for me losing my grandparents has me losing some of the magic feeling the holiday used to bring me. I loved Lila and her spunky dog Winston. He is quite the character. As Lila navigates planning her brother's wedding with the help of grumpy Brooks magical sparks are brewing. I must say the Christmas wedding was beautiful and sounds like a wedding of my dreams. I just gobbled this book right up. It has the perfect balance of heat, heat, and humor. Definitely a book to get you into the holiday spirit.

This was such an adorable and romantic holiday romance—I absolutely loved it! It's a quick, easy read, with just about 200 pages, making it perfect to finish in a day. I adored both Lila and Brooks and can’t wait to dive into the stories of other characters in this series.

I also enjoyed the little glimpses of Fallon and Harrison throughout the book; they left me intrigued and excited to read their story soon. Brooks’ grandma, Kay, was such a delight, subtly nudging Lila and Brooks toward each other. The spice level was just right for my taste, and the concept of a Christmas wedding was so charming! I thoroughly enjoyed the wedding preparations and the big day itself.

And how could I forget Winston, the cutest dachshund ever, rocking his different Christmas sweaters? He was absolutely adorable!

Overall, this is the perfect holiday romance that will leave you swooning like a Hallmark movie. If you love Christmas wedding vibes, this book is definitely for you. It’s already out, so grab your copy—you won’t want to miss this one!

I loved this book and this story. I love a forced proximity, grumpy sunshine that finally comes to his senses.
