I love Disney, and I love the Haunted Mansion attraction and the stories that have been drawn from it over the years. I was eager to start this comic series and see what new spooky tales would be told.

I enjoyed it, that's true. I liked how the story took a curious person into the mansion, and how the book referenced many of the favorite aspects of the popular ride that fans have come to love over the years. However, it was SHORT. I probably read it in about five minutes, so that was pretty disappointing. I don't feel it's worth trying to go through the effort of requesting and borrowing the follow up books from the library. Had I been browsing in a book store and realized how short it is, I would not have paid for a copy.

I loved LOVED this comic collection. It had so many references to the ride, including some of the exact same lines. I liked how the bad guy was a pirate ghost because Pirates of the Caribbean is also located in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. Overall, a must have for fans of the classic ride.

Side Note: The book without the dust cover is absolutely stunning!

I loved this! The Haunted Mansion is my favorite Disney ride, I’m a little obsessed >.> I loved that all the well-known characters were there, and also that they included Captain Gore from the OG idea for the Haunted Mansion. The art was very nice and I liked the human character as well.
