So this just blew my mind....I love b.a.paris. rtc
slow-paced

Probably my least favorite by this author. It was extremely predictable, but it was still fun to get to the end!

I’ve yet to meet a B.A. Paris novel that I didn’t love.

Found the ending of this one pretty wildly unbelievable, so would not recommend! I don't think it will put me off of reading other books by the author necessarily, though.

I don't know how this author does it, book after book, but Bring Me Back is another unbelievable, psychological thriller that made me dizzy with all the twists and turns in the story. I was guessing and then second-guessing myself, thinking I had it all figured out. And then when the end came, I was totally wrong on my guesses. I love when that happens. What an amazing story!

I....what was.....I mean....I don't know what to....

Seriously! What was that!? And to think I liked [b:Behind Closed Doors|29437949|Behind Closed Doors|B.A. Paris|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1458854462l/29437949._SY75_.jpg|45981530] this was BRILLIANT and yet, it had the kind of [b:Gone Girl|19288043|Gone Girl|Gillian Flynn|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1554086139l/19288043._SY75_.jpg|13306276] vibes going on only having to do with two sisters and this one was on the money for me and this B.A. Paris book for sure was better than Gone Girl which I hate to say (and unpopular opinion) was not my favorite. This one was seriously one I could not stop listening to (with the speed turned up pretty high) and got it done in a little over 24 hours! Which is a rare record listen for me for an audiobook! I loved this one that much! I still liked Behind Closed Doors better, but this was still mind blowing no doubt. Now I'm excited to one day read and/or listen to more of Paris' books.

Quick story why I picked this one up:

I got this on audiobook as mentioned on the Libby app and my mom wanted another book of Paris' to read since she loved Behind Closed Doors (and I only own that one of her books) and so I made my mom go to the library and find another book and she found this one. When I saw Libby had the audio available, I got it and the rest occurred once I picked up the audio as of last night. At first mom joked about me reading/listening to it but I couldn't help it and knew I'd finish it before her anyway *laughing* and I'm glad cause now I can watch her reaction with the typical plot twist! Definitely one that took me by surprise but absolutely brilliant!

I received this book in return for an honest review and I hate to say it but this was a tough read for me. I wanted to love it as much as behind closed doors but it just did nothing for me.

From the beginning I wasn’t a fan of the MC’s. I disliked them and not in Gone Girls kind of way. The characters in that story were not like able people but I could’t put their story down. This one I couldn’t pick up. It took me forever to read and I found none of the revaluations surprising. Long before the big reveal I was ready for it all to be over.

Outside of the MC’s the supporting characters were not much better. You have the local bar owner who maybe/maybe not be vindictive. You have the rich guy who is always willing to help the MC out of trouble but is treated like trash and is never thanked. Then you have the 2-3 MC’s with plenty of flaws but I failed to see any redeeming qualities or reasons to care. I hate saying that but I just never got into this on.

a quick, intense read, nothing super special but will be going on to read other b.a paris books!

A good read but a let down compared to B.A. Paris’s other books. I feel as if she could’ve written this over lunch, which is not a problem at all since I absolutely enjoy her work...but if you are looking for a masterpiece like Behind Closed Doors or The Breakdown, look forward to her next book!!
