It was depressing and very scattered. I thought the story was a little rushed and she tried to put too much into it at once. Perhaps it would have been better spread over two books. The characters reacted a little too much to certain things and not enough to other things (i.e. Hope's dad and what transpired with Holden). I just expected a lot more.

I’m torn with how I feel about this book. Some of it I felt like I loved, but it also felt like a big trauma dump, we kept jumping from one horrible thing to another, and it was all tied into too neatly of a bow at the end to make sense. Also, the main characters love story is interesting, he shows some signs of not being the greatest partner and some of the “steamier scenes” are just plainly inappropriate….

Overall, I don’t recommend, but I also didn’t hate it??

Also, main character was not 18 and reading about minors and their sex lives is weird to me.

I enjoyed this one! I know CoHo gets a lot of hate but my favorite thing in a book is a very unexpected plot twist because i find most books really predictable. So, for that reason i really like her books. Anyway, I loved the plot twist and really liked the characters. If you're not a CoHo hater i def recommend this one.
