‘A shock ran through him as he touched it. Recognition. There are moments in life when you know with a great and unshakeable certainty that everything will change.’

while the premise was incredibly captivating (books centered in libraries will always be my jam) I just feel like I didn’t actually CARE much about the characters. as the threads of the story came together I just wasn’t drawn in. might be a me problem because honestly I could not find many reasons for my lackluster review. I look forward to trying other books by this author and may even read the sequel ! we shall see
