Paper Girls #2 continues the charming and outrageous story that began in the previous issue. The art, like the previous issue, is stunning and beautiful.

I have no idea where this is going, and I don't know yet if I like it. I'm going to keep reading for now. I sure do wish some women were involved with this series.

The story continues with these young teenagers trying to figure out what’s going on in their town. I know I didn’t state in the previous review but this was in the late 80s. I want to also say that there are Contant warnings for suicidal ideation and actual suicide on Paige. This was a sad one. With only 32 pages it definitely packed a big punch and gave you insight to one of the teenagers family life.

So, I have come to the conclusion that I love this series but HATE reading issue by issue. So, now I'm torn between waiting for the tradebacks, so I can get more that a tiny morsel of story a a time, or keeping up with the individual comics, because I am too impatient. Ugh.

I was worried at the end of the first one that the story was headed somewhere I wasn't interested in going, but I was completely wrong. This is great. Can't wait to get more.
