An enjoyable read that kept me guessing. There were several plot holes, but I’m hoping they may be filled in the next books.

I enjoy psychological thrillers and I have to say, this was one of the greats. I had hints of what was really going on, but it took the author actually saying it to fit all the pieces into place. Do yourself a favor and read this book!

Even when I thought I guessed the twist ending, I hadn't.
Decent story. Fun to listen to. Right up to the last hour where it gets really weird. I can’t decide if I like that last part of not. I’m not sure. This isn’t really my usual kind of book so maybe the end is normal
I went into this book thinking it was a dark romance but ended up with a psychological thriller. While it did have a romance going on, I didn't feel like it was the main theme of the book. The story pulled me in and I wasn't prepared for the plot twists. Definitely worth a read.
I feel like I was all over the place with this book I didn't know what was happening most of the time is she crazy is she not is she a victim or a monster I liked being kept on my toes

What I really want to know is why was the main character always pinching the bridge of her nose? Is this another form of “letting out a breath I didn’t know I was holding”?

Okay I originally gave this book two stars because it kept me mildly entertained and curious through most of it, even if it was all a bit contrived. BUT... But... I was so bothered by the "twist" ending. Like viscerally affected to the point where I had to complain to my husband about it. So.... Yeah. detracting that second star.
It's not a horrible book overall, and some people might love the fact that things get twisty. It just did not work for me.
