One of my top five books I’ve read. I was feeling so many emotions reading this, I even wanted to throw my book screaming about the dialogue (even though I would never throw a book) I could relate to a few things Liz said and loved the storyline. Classic enemies to lovers/boy next door. Loved the quotes at the beginning of the chapters and loved the main characters bickering while also falling for each other creating a playlist with song recommendations. I am definitely going to read this book again soon.

Cursing in the first chapter. A major red-flag for me and so I put it down. Really disappointed.

Good book. Not a fan of the swearing, and romance isn’t my thing. But overall cute!

Funny, littered with fun romcom references and fully what you want from a romance.

I loved the banter, I loved the characters and their relationships. I loved the old school style and references to classic romantic comedy’s.

It was such a fun ride and I finished almost the whole book in just one afternoon!

So, so good. It had everything I would want - chick flick references, song references, boy next door, frenemies to lovers, fake dating (sort of), amazing character development, not a ton of spice (which is my preference) but still swoon worthy. I laughed out loud at several parts and I loved Liz's inner dialogue. The relationship developed was so wholesome and pure.

I love making playlists so it was fun to relate to Liz in that way. As an added bonus, it was set in the midwest! I grew up in Iowa so the fact the setting was in the Omaha area really was just the cherry on top!

This book was overall amazing - I am just getting into reading and it'll be hard to top this I think!

READ THIS BOOK. It's a true delight.

RATING: PG-13 for relatively frequent swearing, underage drinking and smoking and a reference to sex. Closed-door.
