Oh. My. GOD!!!

This book- Where do I even start?

I don’t think I’ve ever read a romance book where I’ve been so in love with the characters, so emotionally connected to the development and journey of the MC, and so captivated by every chapter. Not once did I get bored; I just couldn’t put it down.

I cant wait to re-read this. I was giggling, squealing, crying, talking to the non existent cameras in my bedroom (sue me). Lynn Painter, your words had me in a chokehold.

I think its gonna be hard to find a romance book to top this one for me. Easily a 5 star book all around. (And I’m pretty stingy with these)

One last note: it’s a no spice romance, which I had been yet to try for no particular reason, but I’m so glad I did because it made me realise how some romances tend to rely on sexual chemistry and sexually charged scenarios, and maybe it was just me never realising my true taste in romance, but I surprisingly preferred the no-spice approach. It particularly felt right for this book, and it really made the connection with the characters feel so authentic, deep and real. I’m truly in love with this book & I’m so sad it’s over.
