I really enjoyed this one, though it seemed to drag on a little in the middle. Definitely focuses more on her relearning to live than the actual scary portion that you might expect from a book surrounding witness protection. I suspect that will change in the next book though, so I'm going to start the second today!

This book had me hooked from the start. I feel so bad for Shiloh, no one should go through what she went through. This book was written amazingly, and you could feel the fear and sadness yourself while reading. I adore the brothers, but Knox needs a good knock on the head for being a dick. I can’t wait to keep reading and see how Shiloh grows.

Read on Kindle.

This book made me very uncomfortable. I had read the summary and knew a basic overview, but it hit me like a freight train realizing that Shiloh was in high school
I REALLY wish the characters were all aged up a few years because it's really hard to figure out some of the age difference things.
Especially with the CSA overtones of the book, it felt really icky that Shiloh and the older brothers had a seemingly big gap, like when they talk about how Keelan and Knox were enough older than the twins to remember their mom well, which I would consider being probably about five years' difference. I'm still not sure if Shiloh is a couple years older than the younger brothers, or if much older men were getting involved with her just after SA. It's hard to discern if she is older and more mature or like an actual child which makes everything feel really icky.

I don't care to find out if that is discussed in the sequels, because the ick factor is too much for me.
