I am surprised over and over again by how much I like Nora Roberts new books. 

She has created a small handful of really fun characters that you follow on their journey to happiness and curse-breaking throughout this trilogy.  So, no, there's not a new couple in each book.  But that's what draws you in, a different framework for her stories with a family curse that really needs to be defeated.
