I thought the beginning was a bit slow, as whilst we were seeing new information from the characters points of view that was important for the story, we knew where the plot was going due to some of it being mentioned in the previous book in the series. And so I just wanted to get there already.

I did like the characters, though I hate the lack of communication trope and wished they would just have a conversation, even though I understand why the didn't.

Twas cute at the end and I loved how they showed up for each other.

Rose Hill just gets better and better. I loved the fiesty yet sweet FMC and the surly, thoughtful MMC. The toddler found a special place in my heart since he shares the name of my son. The professional wrestling was an aspect I wasn't expecting but also loved how supportive everyone was, especially when the MMC was embarrassed about it. Mom life had me setting it down when all I wanted to do was devour this book.

Loved Tabitha and Rys story it was as I imagined the anticipation doesn't disappoint me, Elsie Silver is a queen of her way, but it was little slow burn stretching of misunderstanding and low communication however I loved Tabitha teasing and banter with Rys even when she gave him bad time
