Hilarious!! I love this series of books, I can't believe it has taken me so long to get around to reading them!

Janet Evanovich, has some sense of humour, after watching the first book which was made into a film earlier this year I had to find out what happened in the rest of the series.

Working as a bail bond collector for her cousin Vinnie, Stephanie is searching for awaitress Maxine Nowicki who has left a trail of theft and murder behind her. Once again Stephanie gets herself into trouble by just breathing!

There are so many fabulous moments and characters in this book, the author has a way of dragging you in and keeping you hooked. This book my favourite so far was left on cliff hanger when Stephanie has to move in with Morelli....who for those of you who haven't read the books she has been in love with forever!! I can't wait for book 5 :)

This is a step up from Three To Get Deadly. The formula is wearing a bit thin. Ditto for the humor. The main mystery wasn't as compelling. But Stephanie is still as Stephanie as ever. We get more appearances from Lula, whose always hilarious. We get a great foe in Joyce Barnhardt, who is now a bounty hunter working for Vincent Plum. The Plum family is still the same. We also get a new character called Sally Sweet, a cross dressing singer/guitarist. While I didn't care for the constant use of the trans slur, I will add that Sally has a positive self worth and doesn't take shit from anyone. He manages to go toe to toe with Morrelli and he's useful to the team. The sexism is dated, but the hijinks are as hilarious as ever. See you in the next one.

Stephanie Plum's life is pure chaos. And her friends and family? Just freaking hysterical. Also, I still wish Stephanie and Ranger would become a thing. The Joe thing was too predictable.

I really like these books. I want to know more about Ranger....he is my favorite, hope she has a thing with him at some point. Anyway these are not cozies but still have that same formula. You fall in love with the characters and the town, the mystery is secondary.
