The book was fun and enjoyable for the most part. And the writing was good - finishing the book within two days is certainly a testament to that. But after a rather anticlimactic climax (that I guess wasn’t really a climax), the last few chapters felt rushed as if they’d been tacked on as an afterthought - including the twist. Plus, the casual aphobia in earlier chapters left a bitter taste strong enough to deter me from the rest of the series.
The whole Dead-Inside-O-Tron thing was an insult to asexual readers like me. I’m not dead inside because I’m asexual, I’m dead inside for other reasons.
So, yeah, I’m not willing to risk getting hurt by this author any further.
