So cute. Hannah and Fox are both major catches. Their love is adorable and steamy. The story was pretty fast-paced but somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding Fox working through his issues. Third person limited, dual POV.

She did it again. Every time I read a new Tessa Bailey book I think to myself „surely, it can’t be that good again.“. But yes, yes it was that good again. I loved to see how Fox‘s story got told. And it made me so sad to see that he had to struggle with the playboy imagine so much. I will never judge someone for being a playboy ever again.
-.25 points only because Fox‘s dirty talk made me cringe at times…

Tessa Bailey has done it again. Hook, Line, and Sinker is a 5 star follow-up to It Happened One Summer. Fox and Hannah have amazing chemistry and great tension- and the pining! This book has Tessa’s signature balance of sweet and spicy, highly recommend to all.

I always love Tessa Bailey’s books, and this one had big shoes to fill given how much everyone loved It Happened One Summer. Luckily, this exceeded my expectations! This friends to lovers is kind of a slow burn, which allows readers to see the complex growth of Hannah and Fox. And the epilogue 🥺 such a good read!!
