I love Hannah and Fox as main characters, I wanted more of them in the first book and this didn't disappoint. I love their shared journey, and I love how positive and observant Hannah is and how hard Fox is trying to move past his emotional blockages for both himself and for Hannah.

As with most Tessa Bailey books, this is very spicy and during the spice there is cursing. Like the first book mentions, Hannah and her sister own a bar so alcohol does come up. The rest of the content warning does require slight spoilers:Spoiler
In college Fox does think he's in a serious relationship, only to find out the girl he's dating saw him as a free pass while she dated her real boyfriend. This seriously messed up Fox's view of himself and was a toxic first relationship to be in. Fox had been considered a womanizer due to his father's actions and everyone's assumptions about how his son would turn out. This meant that Fox's life revolved around sex from a young age and even after his father's death this was perpetuated by his mother, his friends, and the other locals.kiserke's review against another edition

Such a fun book. I love Hannah's positivity and I think I liked this even more than the first book.

Much preferred this one to its predecessor although it was a bit repetitive. The themes were better developed (breaking the mould of expectations, toxic masculinity,) even the characters were more believable. The sex scenes were fewer but served the story better and weren't cringe-worthy.

I loved everything about this besides the epilogue. The epilogue was just cheesy and over the top, it kind of ruined the end of the book for me.
