Such a fun book. I love Hannah's positivity and I think I liked this even more than the first book.

This book gets very graphic sexually towards the later half of the novel. Since Hannah's sister owns a bar alcohol is mentioned here and there. Death of a parent refers to the same situation as the first book.

Much preferred this one to its predecessor although it was a bit repetitive. The themes were better developed (breaking the mould of expectations, toxic masculinity,) even the characters were more believable. The sex scenes were fewer but served the story better and weren't cringe-worthy.

I loved everything about this besides the epilogue. The epilogue was just cheesy and over the top, it kind of ruined the end of the book for me.

Otherwise, this was so fantastic. Bingeable and fun and lighthearted.

Amazing. I didn’t think I could love a book in the series more then it happened 1 summer but I was wrong. I knew I was gonna love Fox and Hannah from the their first interaction in it happened one summer. And it was great to see what was going on in those moments from their POVs. Loved this book and loved this series. I also loved how complex these characters were it was never just what you see is what you get. Tessa Bailey truly out did herself. Can not recommend this book enough. Also the spice dang 🥵
