as chris cocker once said, “LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!”
happy she was able to tell her story, though I shouldn’t have expected this to be on the level of I’m Glad My Mom Died.

Not really sure how to rate a memoir but this was such a beautiful and difficult read. Britney has been through so much and she still managed to write with so much empathy about the people in her life that betrayed her time and time again. It was really interesting to see what parts of her career she chose to highlight throughout the book and I was able to learn a lot! This was a very good book!

It’s been a long time since I’ve really followed Britney. Almost 20 years had passed until she was on my radar again - Free Britney was everywhere, and I was shocked at what was coming out in the news. Britney’s story is amazing but disturbing. I felt all of the emotions reading this one. Great read.
Very insightful! I won't be giving it a rating because it is someone's personal account of their life, but I enjoyed learning more about someone I feel like I grew up alongside.

Couldn’t put it down. Heartbreaking to hear what she went through. It puts a lot of things into perspective in regards to her life and where she is now.
Although not the most brilliantly crafted memoir, Britney's story is undeniably heart-wrenching. It truly makes you reflect on the astonishing resilience of a remarkable young woman who not only endured those grueling 13 years of solitude but also persevered with an unwavering determination to live life on her own defiant terms.
