So this books is pretty Hot.
I enjoyed the book and I liked the plot. Ellie has had a crush on Kayne for almost a year. She's drawn to him. She finally gets the nerve and ask him out to a party her boss is throwing. He shows up and one thing leads to another.
She thinks she's going to fulfill her fantasy but shes gets something else entirely.

The only way Ellie can survive is to submit which isn't easy. She does stay strong but the lines start to blur between love and hate. She has always wanted Kanye but not this way.
Kanye wants to protect her, but can he be the Hero and the Mostster? He is conflicted.
I loved this book for many reason. Sometimes when you read a dark novel The anti hero can't redeemed. It makes it hard for us to be happy when the heroine falls in love. Owned, for me, the Anti-hero can be redeemed for the readers.
Will Ellie see him as a monster or a hero?

Woah!
This book was different than what I'm used to reading and I loved it. At times Kayne made me very angry, but in the end I was absolutely Kayne's Kitten.

I really loved "Owned"! Poor Ellie did not realize what she got herself into when she asked Kayne out. Things went bad when Javier shows up and the only way Kayne could save her was to make her his slave. I was surprised at the ending of the book and I can't really tell because then I would give away the ending! I love Jett and I hope more gets written about him! Man I need a MAN like Jett around. He does hair, makeup and he styles Ellie to perfection of course that is when she gets to wear clothes. It does end on a cliffhanger so beware but, it will be so worth it when the next book comes out!
Now for the WARNING: Owned is a DARK Erotic Romance! There is nonconsensual sex, violence and abuse, not consenting Master/Slave relationship, and intense sexual situations. Don't buy this book if you think it is a light read (it isn't!) Don't buy this book if you don't like this type of book.

This book was very addictive and explosive. Wow did not know the book will give me a surprising ending. I even went on a rant for a few minutes but this was good because it was totally unexpected for me. Readers this book is DARK so I urge you to read with caution. If you have triggers of sexual abuse please read with caution.
But read this book. Although the sex scenes were too much for me I really liked the story. Would have wanted more information. Especially on the characters but maybe in the second book I will get some background information. Im definitely continuing with the book.

This story was hot AF but the characters felt a little flat to me. This is not a book for everybody, and trigger warnings should be looked up if that kind of thing interferes with your reading experience.

This story was so raw and intoxicating that it completely Owned me! It brought me to the very edge of my comfort level but I couldn't stop listening! Kayne is forced to do something he never thought he'd do and is surprised by how much he enjoys it. Ellie is blindsided by her terrifying dilemma, but becomes addicted to the dark desires that Kayne makes her feel. Kayne wants Ellie's trust, but the secrets he keeps could be the end of them both. I really felt the connection between Kayne and Ellie no matter the events that were out of their control. I may not have always liked what was happening but Ms Nevers ability to draw me into her hauntingly erotic tale was brilliant.
This story was made all the more powerful and raw by the expert narration by Muffy Newtown, and Sam Crowley. Muffy's interpretation of first Ellie's desire to please, and then her confused and terrified state was so impressive I was reeling by all the emotions she made me feel. Sam showed so much range from the tender moments to the horrifying and creeping that he gave me chills. Both narrators made this story even more powerful, dark, and intoxicating! I need the next book in this Decadence After Dark series!

Got maybe half way through the book and had to stop. It's so so bad.
He just leaves her and she gets off leash to use the bathroom once maybe twice? How is she not having to go to the bathroom more?

It's been a while
This was my first M. Never book I got the audiobook several years ago and decided to reread it. I still absolutely love the narration, but the book was still good but no longer my favorite. I would still recommend this book to anybody who's looking for something dark and spicy.

Amazing! This book pulls you in at the beginning and you can’t stop until you make it to the end. The emotions you feel, especially with this narration team is phenomenal. You feel everything the characters feel and the twist at the end leaves you needing to know what comes next. I really hope the next book is already out!
