I found this book to be just OK. I would have stopped reading it early on but I hate doing that. I have to know the ending. I found the synopsis to be misleading as well. Also, I'm sure there are people out there that are fans of Desiree's but I think the author goes a bit too over board in emphasizing the fact that Desiree is over weight and in my opinion very lazy. What kind of a P.I. doesn't mind a bit of leg work? She also talks herself out of good decisions. Anyway, I don't see me reading any more of this series.
