I enjoyed this Christmas book! It was so sweet and just enjoyable. You are routing for the couple to get together and you are rooting them on all the way! There are two big sex scenes so if that is not your thing, you might wanna skip to the end of the chapter. I wish the ending would have gone a little more so I could hear how the farm is going to do or what other Christmas things happen in the farm, but it comes to an end when I expected a little more. Overall I enjoyed this book! I just love Christmas books!

Taylor Swift songs: “Everything has changed (TV)”, “You are in love”, “New Year’s Day”

This is a such a sweet small-town holiday romance! It’s friends to lovers with fake dating!! Luka is one of my favorite book boyfriends, he is such a sweet baby I love him!! This book just had so many moments that made me giddy and smile!! Their chemistry is just off the charts, but in a way that’s not burning passion, but a deep love that comes with years of friendship (that “New Year’s Day kind of love). The reasons why Stella was so anxious/hesitant to risk the friendship made so much sense, and was explained well, compared to other friends to lovers book that make me so frustrated that they don’t just get together already. This was just a quick feel-good sweet read!

I saw so many of my Booktok friends read and love this, and I regret taking this long to read it! The hype is definitely deserved! I will definitely continue reading this interconnected series!

Age rating: 16+ (2-3 brief spicy scenes, really romantic well written though too 2/5🌶️)

I'm normally not a fan of Christmas themed books but I regret not reading this sooner! It was so good. It does have a Christmas theme...I mean it is set on a Christmas tree farm, but it isn't overwhelming at all.

I went in fairly blind and was intrigued by her predicament of needing a boyfriend. This fake dating story really worked. @authorbkborison did a great job setting it up, providing "practice" for Luka and Stella, and adding in plenty of forced proximity which led to some really steamy moments. I didn't love the fact that Stella had lied about having a boyfriend, but I guess I liked the end result.

I loved watching best friends fall in love. I think friendship is so vital in a relationship and theirs was so special. I loved how Luka supported Stella.

If you love small town, friends to lovers, forced proximity, and fake dating and haven't read this yet I highly recommend!

I received an advanced copy of this book through @netgalley and @berkleyromance (I had also previously listened to this on the @libby.app I'll be home)
This is my honest review

Rated R: language and graphic sexual content--open door romance.

Not my thing.

I loved so much about this book! The tension was top notch and I loved the two main characters. I loved the banter and humor throughout this book.
One thing I didn’t like as much was how painfully obvious it was that they were in love with each other and were the last to know about it. The third act breakup was frustrating!
And then when he confesses his love for her she tells him that he doesn’t actually love her…I don’t typically like when a person tells someone else what they are feeling.

This was such an easy book to love. The characters are cute and the story was sweet. There was even a little bit of a mystery built in pertaining to the tree farm’s ongoing string of bad luck. And I loved how that was resolved!

Talking briefly about the spicy scenes in the spoiler below. No actual spoilers.

The sex scenes were written so sensually. I think they were the most tastefully romantic things I’ve ever read or listened to. No vulgar descriptive words required to convey the tension, passion, romance, and  sex between characters.
