Reminds me of a high school version mix with ACOTAR and Fifty Shades of Gray

I did love this, it was the first book I have read for a long time- hence the 4 stars as I have nothing to compare it to.
As much as I love a

I only read Punk 57 because it was what my friend group decided to read together as our "book club" book. I would have loved this book in high school but as an adult I found Ryen and Misha insufferable. The story really had a great premise but what evolved from that was a mess. It really was like reading the fanfiction writings of a highschooler and it felt weird reading it as someone who has been out of high school for many years. Cringey, problematic...just not a good book.

I mean …. This was toxic in every possible angle.
Good spice though, but both require individual, extensive therapy.

This book was actually so bad. The plot was awful.

Idk how I rated this a 4 star on the first read because on subsequent rereads, this was a disaster. Douglas knows how to write sex scenes, but everything else was so messy.

Shoutout to a quick cameo of the Devil's Night boys, though.

Happy reading, Goodreads fiends.
