Reasons to Bump This Up On Your TBR:
You like rich, small town friends to enemies to lovers with plenty of tension and secret betrayals.

Reasons to Bump This Down On Your TBR (more in content warnings)
MCs are 18 but in high school. Like, I know why but also… why? Wattpad vibes are there but can be tolerated.

Slow at first and almos too fast at the end. A little toxic relationship. And the hard reality of some people in high school.

It was a really good book and I liked it. I LOVE books when the title makes sense. Choosing Punk 57 as a title is amazing and I want to keep talking about it

It's a lovely coming of age story between the popular girl and the mysterious outcast. They are seniors in highschool and there is some spicy scenes.

Overall I enjoyed this book. I found it interesting and there were a handful of events/ turns that I didn’t expect. Penelope Douglas really knows how to write sizzling chemistry between the main characters.

The songs were an interesting touch too. I had a hard time picturing them in my head as a song, but they read like poetry.

The bullying aspect of this book was kinda hard to read and made me feel really sad. Although it was an important aspect in the book that allowed me to better understand their struggles and personal issues. I am glad that the characters were able to reflect on it and develop in the book.

I put “it’s complicated” for if I found the characters lovable. I felt like I could relate to Ryen with her feelings of not fitting in and I liked her character, and I did like Misha too, but I absolutely hated Trey.
I was upset with how long it took Misha to tell Ryen the truth, but it kept me engaged in the story.
