Awh, Sylvan and Fletcher were both SO CUTE. They were funny, snarky and an absolute delight. I loved their low-angst feel-good story and I'm so glad I picked it up. Definitely gonna check out some of this author's other works.

The book started off a bit slow for me and I wasn't sure if I liked Fletcher during the first few chapters. But Sylvan sold me on the story. He's funny, quick-witted, and brilliant in what he does, which is helping Fletcher with every part of his business life, and some of his personal life, too. When Fletcher asks Sylvan to be his pretend boyfriend for a family gathering, he agrees because he's always doing whatever needs to be done for his boss. But soon, things get complicated between them. I have to say by the end of the book, I truly enjoyed how caring Fletcher became, especially after several realizations about his life. Sylvan, while not having much of an arc, was solid in the story and I liked him all the way through. A funny, sweet, heartwarming book that I enjoyed!!

A wonderful light-hearted fake relationship, boss/employee romance. This was fun to read, entertaining characters that get you really involved in the story.
Sylvan is one of the few people that Fletcher trusts and it really comes through. Fletcher finds himself asking his PA for help by pretending to be his boyfriend for a week at a family reunion and of course, what could possibly happen?
It's a really enjoyable read with very low angst. The banter is so much fun between the two, you can tell that they have worked together for a long time though as is normally the way, the PA knows more about the boss than vice versa. The two are a perfect match and I was pulled into their relationship right from the start. The author's writing is wonderfully descriptive, especially as they are holidaying in the alps and there are a couple of tender moments between the two on the slopes.
Definitely a recommended read! The family bring a fun aspect, especially the meddlesome mum who just wants the best for her son.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Solid short read

Very cute, easy to read workmates to lovers/fake boyfriend romance. Ruthie always writes so sweetly, it's like a breath of fresh air when a lot of books are super intense and full of drama.

Very old-fashioned kind of story. Billionaires are not very appealing to me.

Fake relationship's stories are always hilarious and a favourite of mine. And when is written with such a fun and sexy flare like here, it becomes irresistible.

The story is a quick, light read with some very sweet moments and some funny misunderstandings that made me go from awww to laughing out loud. I really, really liked it :)

There wasn't anything original about the plot of this, but the characters were enjoyable, the story wasn't draw out, it was low angst/drama, and I didn't experience near as much second-hand awkwardness as I typically do when reading fake relationship novels.
