Sometimes knowing what happens helps, sometimes it doesn't. For Libby Day, the process of searching was more life-saving then the truth - it encouraged her to do.

This is a good read, compelling story switching from present day to the day everything went wrong. Slowly piecing together how the story fits together. And who actually murdered the Day family all those years ago.

So many twists and turns. You’ll think it’s someone, then you’ll think it’s someone else, then you’ll go back to your original thought & that’ll rinse and repeat until you find out what really did happen - I can almost guarantee you won’t be expecting it

i am in love with Flynn's writing and way of dissecting twisted and broken characters. I personally thought some passages were a bit too gory and descriptive for me

I've read both of Flynn's books, and I really enjoy her knack for damaged protagonists. Her books are dark & twisted, but thankfully don't employ the usual serial killer or sexual predator cliches.
