ANISE STARRE!!

You brilliant woman! I loved One Week in Paradise and One Last Job but ONE MORE SHOT?? You’ve outdone yourself!!

This book is perfection. I want to delete it from my memory so I can read it all over again.

Eliott is me and I am Eliott. Her character really hit close to home. Being the eldest daughter, you don’t always get the chance to consider yourself in any situation so seeing her have to experience her inner battles was very personal to me. It made it that much more beautiful to see her develop her personal boundaries and have the conversation with her Grandmother. Brilliant character development. Then the way she fit in perfectly with Bailey and Amber? Chefs kiss!!

Then we have Dane. If I had to write the characteristics of my perfect man, it would just spell Big Daddy Dane! His character development was also something beautiful to experience. Discovering why he was so closed off to love really broke my heart but I’m so glad he was able to come to the realisation that he is deserving.

This story gave me all the feels. It tugged on my heart strings. It gave me everything I needed and more.

Anise, thank you for sharing your gift with us!

This whole series was super cute and this one was no exception! I’d say 4 stars for the vibes 3 stars for the writing.

Anise Starre can really write an eldest daughter, Elliott’s story resonated with me (at times painfully but that’s a story well written I guess). Dane was a cutie.

Wrapped up a bit fast but lovely overall.

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review

„She might not ask for it, but I want to give it to her, anyway. I want to give her the world if she’ll let me. I love this woman with every fibre of my being, and the thought terrifies me. Because I’ve been here before and I know how this ends. And it can’t end like that this time. Not again. Not with Eliott.“

cute but nothing that totally blew me away still a rec if you want a short spicy book.
