I honestly never really got into the book. The characters felt like walking cliches, with as much depth as cardboard.
And the writing was just … difficult to keep wanting to read it. I read until page 150 or something with the goal to get that done before stopping or skipping pages. Well I skipped all the pages until the end, which wasn’t even that satisfying.
Even though there were some problems, I still never felt with the characters. Stroke? Nope. Assault? Nope. Hearing loss? Also nope.
Also, I‘ve read anything like the rule promised on the cover, but maybe that was also lost while skipping the pages.
And the smut wasn’t good/captivating either. So nearly no good qualities about this book.
Kind of sad because I was pretty excited for this book, but I guess disappointments happen.
