i thoroughly enjoyed this book, the plot and world building set up the story well - it left little to no questions even knowing we'd be going into a second one. The romance although a bit slow at first i also enjoyed - the aspect and themes while dark they aren't disturbing. I found that I was rooting for the characters as a couple and separately. I cant wait to see what the author does with the series!!
