Not at all what I expected, but still very interesting and enjoyable. I have enjoyed getting to know these women better through this authors books.

Found this to be very informative and interesting about various females in Greek mythology.

This book is so so well researched, the chapters on different characters go so in depth telling us about female characters in greek mythology and how they are represented by different authors and artists. There's references to modern day stories/film as well which tied in really well!
I thought it was written in a very accessible way, as mythology can get really quite confusing really fast, and I like how the authors personality kind of broke through at points! There were some comments and moments which even made me laugh!
There were of course some denser parts which were harder to get through but they balanced out well with the humour/personality threaded through.
