Sage McKnight is an architect with a soft spot for helping those with disabilities. She takes on her most challenging client in Mason Tucker, a former pro baseball player still healing from an accident that left him a wheelchair-using single dad. Her work in his home in Hope's Crossing is her best work yet and she won't let grumpy Mason prevent her from showcasing her work. With the matchmaking of the quirky locals, Christmas cheer and Sage's charm, Mason doesn't stand a chance.

OMG loved this!! I was trying not to cry while getting my nails done. This was such a heartwarming and sweet read. I liked the disability rep (would love to hear perspective from someone of similar abilities) and the single dad angle. Mason was the best grumpy sunshine I've read in a while :) Also, the unique charms of a small town setting are such a joy to read. There was also another love story, that of her good friend Tarryn and her childhood BFF Charlie. This is the perfect book to get you in the mood for the holiday season!!

Thank you to HTP Books for my finished copy.

It was a cute, small-town, Christmas love story. I didn’t realize this was a series so I haven’t read any of the other books, but I was able to catch on to the character storylines.

Okay - Not a waste of time
I was bored with parts of the story but there was enough to keep me reading to see Mason and Sage connect and get there HEA. Unfortunately, due to all the different events occurring in the story, the main romantic relationship between Sage and Mason was lacking any real depth and while they get there HEA, I became more invested in their kid's activities and friendships.
