Not only is the art in this book a masterclass of cartooning, but the writing is sharp, clever, and left me hungry for the next page. Fox’s compositions are incredible and you can take any panel from this book and make it it’s own print. I loved the fairytale nature of the story and the undercurrent of magic grounded in emotional conflict that is so human.
