Predictable from start to finish. There wasn't really any mystery to me.
The book itself was great, but the narrator killed me!
2.5 stars. Subpar writing with a twist I guessed miles away, but still an interesting premise. I only picked this up because the main character was a marine biologist, but there wasn't as much marine biology as I was hoping for. Going to go reread [b:Into the Drowning Deep|34523174|Into the Drowning Deep (Rolling in the Deep, #1)|Mira Grant|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1489176444s/34523174.jpg|55657440] to satisfy my marine bio fiction needs.
I am definitely a sucker for a good suspense thriller and this is exactly that. I devoured this book in one sitting and enjoyed every page! A.J. Banner keeps you guessing through until the end! I absolutely did not see the twist at the end coming the way it did and I thought the ending was suspenseful and exciting. Who am I kidding, the whole book is suspenseful! I couldn't put it down. Banner does a great job making you feel like you're discovering Kyra's memory with her and learning the truth and guessing with her through every page. The ending was wrapped up all pretty in a bow which some people might roll their eyes at but I'm also a sucker for a happy ending. Loved it
Interesting premise and definitely kept my attention, but the holes left in the story were a big thing that left me a bit disappointed. Too many variables that couldn't be managed or explained. It was still a quick, thriller-type (without the actual fear, perfect for me).

This was just. Alright. It wasn’t great, but I didn’t dislike it. It didn’t start picking up until the halfway point, and even then it wasn’t that gripping for me. The plot twist wasn’t that shocking; I didn’t necessarily see it coming but I wasn’t surprised when it did.
It was a fast read, mildly intriguing, but that’s about it. I wouldn’t recommend it but I wouldn’t NOT recommend it you know what I mean?

I’ve been on a streak with really good psychological suspense novels lately and I was so thrilled to see it continue with The Twilight Wife. I never really guessed the truth until the big reveal during the climax. The pacing was excellent and I read through the novel from start to finish in less than three nights. I loved that the story was told from the point of view of an unreliable narrator and the reader has to struggle to piece together Kyra’s past with very little to go on. My only complaints are a few subplots were never resolved and I wanted a little more tension during the finale. Otherwise, a fantastic thrilling read!

An incredibly slow read. I've read 600+ books quicker than this one. It was boring and very predictable. By half of the book (aka like 140 pages) I already knew what was gonna happen. Don't waste your time in this one ya'll.
This was a decently good book. The plot line was interesting enough to have me finish it, and the shock factor of the end was great. However, the writing style seemed undeveloped and didn't really pull me completely into the world of the story. It was skeletal structure writing, at best.
